Interactive backgrounds that follow the pointer

33 of the 77 shaders here read the cursor: eyes that track it, lightning that seeks it, fields that bend around it. A mouse-reactive background effect without writing a single event handler.

The pointer is a uniform

Every shader in the catalogue reads the same uniform block, and the pointer is one of its fields. Set trackPointer on the component and the renderer feeds cursor position into the shader each frame — one listener, no plumbing, and the same wiring works for touch.

Idle frames that carry themselves

An interactive website background spends most of its life with nobody touching it, so every pointer shader here has an idle state that reads as designed rather than dead: the eyes wander on their own clocks, the lightning re-rolls its heading, the fields keep drifting. The cursor joins the motion instead of starting it.

Behind a hero, under a form

These run as ordinary backgrounds — same component, same controls, same performance budget as the still ones. Put one behind a signup form and the page acknowledges the visitor before a single word does.

Try one against your own cursor

Every interactive shader runs live in the catalogue — move the pointer over one and it answers.
