Tesla
A plasma globe whose filament reaches for your finger
A plasma globe: bright filaments branch from a core out to the inside of the glass, wandering and then snapping to new headings. One filament always reaches for the pointer and stops at the glass, exactly what the real toy does when a hand touches the dome.
Rendering cost: medium. A few dozen samples per pixel: comfortable fullscreen on a discrete GPU, but cap the pixel ratio for a retina hero. How to tune it
Tune Tesla free. Take it when you are ready.
